The Beginning of Hope

 

Outsiders took most of the races while only one was landed by the favorite and lost by the other seven..
TURNOVER: HK$6,100,000
The total was 300,000 less than the last Season Opening Day.
ATTENDANCE: 14,000
Red flat was not hoisted in the Public Enclosure with still have one thousand plus vacancy before full-house.
The Member’s Stand was not crowded too.
WEATHER: Clear; GOING: Firm
Timing of each race proven that the ground had not been affected by showers on the day before.
Victor Warne’s bay APHRODITE, trained by N.Metrevelli was leading in to the Members’ Enclosure, all are being joyful with the jockey.
The HK$100 Large Amount Betting machine was not facilitating due to mal-function order upon Race 5. Other betting machines were normal and the new broadcasting system and the Parameter were effective to enhance processing dividends for all results.
Due to four accounts of accidents, the last race were delayed to 6 pm.
