Chevalier Cup


 

Courtly Gentleman

 

1970, Chevalier Group was found by Dr Chow Yei Ching.

 

Commenced core business in Toshiba lifts and escalators with 10 staff members in 600 sq. ft. office space as Headquarters located at Star House, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong.

 

Its businesses and operations have grown on a worldwide scale with more than 3,300 employees globally nowadays.

 

 

Gallant Horseman

 

1996 onward, Chevalier Cup Race Day and Chevalier Cup have been sponsored by Chevalier Group annually.

 

All those events have been held in Sha Tin Racecourse.

 

All the Chevalier Cup Races have been run on turf either in a distance of 1400 or 1600 meters.

 

Dr Y C Chow, accompanied by his wife, usually present the trophy and a replica to the winning owner after the Cup Race.

 

The winning trainer and jockey will each receive an 11-inch replica.
