A strongly muscled, powerful horse, CO-TACK was almost machine-like in the manner in which he gunned down all opposition. Besides his ten consecutive wins, he set a new record for the Sha Tin mile that would stand for over 20 years.

REFERENCE

Trainer T P Wong commented that ignoring the cost of its purchase, he was impressed by the first performance of CO-TACK and perceived that it would be a promising star. Among the dominance by expatriate trainers, CO-TACK thus built its own name and brighten up its trainer in the 1980s. That has been the glamorous and fascination of Horse Racing!

    SUMMARY

He gave his remarks after the last race:

“It is a perfect ending and it is mission accomplished,

“I have had a great career and I have enjoyed it all.”

WONG, Tang Ping was the first trainer to reach the recently introduced retirement age of 65.

After his retirement, it seemed that he still could not cut off the affiliation with horses.

Recently, he has been a feature article writer for webs and the press with active concerns with the racing circle.
