Owning Horses With Local Hearts
Mr & Mrs Pang are both in the laser retailing business.
Mr Pang visited the racecourses whenever he could, since his early years in England.
They were introduced to trainer Stephen Leung by his cousin who they be-friended in England.
1980s, after returned to Hong Kong, they became RHKJC members and continued to attend race meetings.
Affected by the fun and joy of their friends with horse ownerships, they applied for a permit.
A Couple Of Dedicated And Attentive Owners
Mr Pang said that he preferred to own horses via Private Purchases.
They have previous forms with track records proven, with their trainers and jockeys facilitating additional references.
Preference of stayer instead of sprinter as the former should sustain longer.
Mr Pang opted to avoid horses who have been ridden mainly by renowned jockeys, as those horses have usually been pushed to the extreme and take much long time to recover and settle down after arriving Hong Kong.
Mr & Mrs Pang have no picture taking with horses inside stables as they want horses to learn that photographing can only be taken after winning the races.
